First poetry acceptance for 2019 💃🏻

And it’s from Stand magazine. So that has really given me a much needed boost! The submission was sent by post near the end of December last year. I think I was feeling like casting out a hopeful line to the unknown waters of a new year. I saw the brown envelope, then realised it was a Self Addressed Envelope, on my doormat today, and was so sure it would be a kind rejection that I ripped it open quite carelessly. Definitely one of those read it twice or thrice moments but happy to report it does seem to be an acceptance of three of my poems! Due in Stand Magazine around early 2020 but time flies like an arrow, fruit flies like a banana as Groucho Marx (I think) once said.
